After the completion of the first phase of construction, a new Ultra Low Oxygen refrigerator for storing apples and cherries was officially opened in Zajecar.

World of freshness ULO cooling chamber Zajecar is one of the most modern facilities in the world for storage and handling of apples and cherries, unique for the largest capacity for handling cherries in this part of Europe.

The cooling chamber itself has the most modern MafRoda line for calibration and packaging of apples and cherries, as well as a hydrocooler which naturally lowers the temperature of the fruit by water cooling to 2 degrees, which instantly preserves the freshness of the fruit.

The construction of the facility is planned in 4 phases, with a total capacity of 20,400 t, and an area of ​​26,000 m2 (administrative building, space for calibration and packaging and cooling chambers).

The cooling chamber is located right next to Delta Agrar plantations, which completes the entire production process, shortens the time of fruit transport, and the best quality of the fruit as well as the taste, like it has been just picked from the tree, is ensured.
