Production results at pig farm Napredak are far above the Serbian average

STARA PAZOVA, 14th July, 2016 - Pig farm "Napredak" in Stara Pazova achieved business results that are in the rank of 10 best farms in Denmark, the leading country in the field of pig breeding, and almost twice the average in Serbia.


At this pig farm where annually 38 000 fattened pigs are produced, food consumption is considerably lower than in traditional production, the meatiness of pigs is increased, thus resulting in high quality of end products which are easily placed on the market and without any concern as to their price. This pig farm is organized in accordance with the latest global standards. The implementation of the GLOBAL GAP/LIVESTOCK BASE standard is currently underway, thus confirming the quality of pork produced on this farm.

The basis for successful and profitable pig production on the farm “Napredak” in Stara Pazova is made of Nucleus farm for the production of breeding gilts of F1 generation in accordance with the internationally renowned DanBred technology. Careful crossbreeding produces high-quality piglets resistant to disease, with high fertility and optimal lean to fat ratio. Besides the Nucleus farm, there is also the Centre for Artificial Insemination with 75 top level boars from. Nucleus farm, AI Centre and Farm Napredak were built as prototypes for all farms to be built in the future.
