Company Delta Agrar has expanded its fruit and livestock production into East Serbia. After Celarevo, the largest orchard in this part of Europe, the first 100 hectares were raised in Zajecar as well. The novelty is Evelina, a new club variety of apples, which will make its debut in our market in October. Evelina is distinguished by its aromatic fragrance, its balanced sweet and sour flavour and an amazing spectre of colours, from bright red to light yellow. Thanks to its natural firmness and resistance, this apple keeps the freshness and crispiness of a newly picked fruit for a long time.
In the first half of the year, Delta Agrar's income exceeded 16 billion dinars, with numerous records achieved in agricultural production. In this company it is believed that remarkable results can be achieved only with professional staff and large investments in modern agriculture – that is why investments in the first six months of this year amounted to 10 million euros.
